How to troubleshoot a hp laptop?
·         Find out the model number and the serial number. You will find this information on the bottom of the laptop. You need this information if support is required and if you want to order parts
·         The power cord will be removed to ensure whether the laptop is turning on with the battery. If the laptop is not turning on then this might be because of a dead battery.
·         The power cord will be plugged into the computer and into an electrical outlet. Make sure that there is the power to the outlet. After that try to turn on the computer
·         See whether the computer is turning on and the desktop is on the computer. Power is not there to the computer then you have to replace the power supply. If there is power then the light will blink and it will appear on the screen. If there is the power to the computer and the screen does not turn on then there might be the problem with hp support driver
·         Check for the problem in the hard drive. To perform this task bootable recovery disk will be inserted into CD drive.  The computer will be restarted. If the screen appears after booting then hp hard drive is corrupt or there might be a problem with hp computer operating system. From backup copy operating system will be reinstalled. If you cannot perform this task then replace hp hard drive.
·         Check whether the computer is connecting with the internet. Check whether the modem or router is working properly if you cannot connect yourself with the internet. Try other alternative and that is trying to connect hp computer with the internet using a wired connection if it is connecting with the wired connection then replace your wireless card.
·         Try to put a disk in the hp disk drive. Try reinstalling the driver if the drive is not working and if the driver is not operating then replace it.
